Assiniboine Park Conservancy (APC) is excited to announce the launch of the Imagine a Place Capital Campaign; a $200 million redevelopment project that will breathe new life into what has long been one of our province’s most treasured destinations.
Kicking off the Imagine a Place public campaign is a month long matching gift challenge. All gifts and pledges to the Imagine a Place Campaign received between June 1 – 30 will be eligible to be matched dollar for dollar by very generous anonymous Park supporters to a cumulative total of $500,000! The results of the Challenge will be announced on July 1st during Canada Day Celebrations at Assiniboine Park.
Funds raised from the 30 Day Million Dollar Challenge will be directed to the capital redevelopment of Assiniboine Park and Zoo, helping to ensure extraordinary visitor experiences and happy memories for generations to come.
Most Manitobans have many lasting memories of Assiniboine Park. Having contributed to our lives over the past 107 years, Assiniboine Park belongs to the community. The transformation currently being undertaken will benefit all of us. This is a special time in the Park’s history, and a unique time to become involved in building the future of this civic treasure.
